Pioneer is a family mountain resort located in Kazakhstan, 25 kilometres from Almaty, in the vicinity of the Beskainar settlement (formerly known as Gorny Sadovod).

This all-season resort is located at an altitude of over 2,000 meters above sea level in the picturesque Kotyrbulak Gorge, within the Ile-Alatau National Park.

Ski slopes certified by the International Ski Federation (FIS).
3,000 meters long. The slope is at an altitude of 2,000+ meters. The slight slope is good for both confident skiers and beginners.
Ski Pass is a subscription that gives skiers and snowboarders the right to use the lifts. The ski pass looks like a magnetic card that must be applied to the terminal when entering the lifts.
The pragmatism that has remained in us since Soviet times often recommends that those who love to ski or snowboard, but do it rarely, buy their own equipment and clothing at low prices.
“Well, it’s okay for 2-3 trips a year, but at least you don’t have to pay for the rental!” This can have many sad consequences.
Skis and snowboards are the most important elements of skiing. They must be flexible and not break when they hit unexpected obstacles. Also, cheap materials wear off the lubricant very quickly, which is why you will have to pump up your arm muscles quite a bit to even get going.
Having your own equipment, gear and clothes for skiing is very good, but you need to approach this issue wisely. Well, and if you really rarely go to the mountains, then it is better to rent all this. Our specialists will select for you everything you need for your pleasure.
Our instructors are professional, attentive, responsible and experienced mentors who will teach you how to ski confidently, even if you are a beginner!

By the way, each of our instructors has their own fan club! This is how we joke when we see reviews in stories: "Bagdat is the best instructor" or "Baurzhan is the best."
To this we immediately answer that each instructor has his own individual approach and each client will learn to ride with us! You simply have no chance not to learn.
We train even very young children. From 3 years old, only the necessary condition is that the foot must be at least size 25. Because we simply do not have a smaller size for rent.
We offer accommodation to suit every taste.
Bungalows are for those who want to relax in close proximity to the slope. From the balcony of each bungalow terrace you can watch skiers with a cup of tea.
The Panorama Hotel is a real find for those who value comfort and ecology. You will find spacious comfort-class rooms and a spacious terrace with amazing mountain sunsets.
The Pioner Hotel is a cozy economy-class guest house with hostel-type rooms. Here you can not only save on the cost of accommodation, but also feel the atmosphere of the past, when Pioner was one of many Soviet tourist centers.
A two-story cottage with a sauna, two comfortable rooms and panoramic windows. The cottage is made entirely of young light wood - aesthetically pleasing, beautiful and environmentally friendly. There is a kitchen equipped with everything you need, as well as a real wood-burning stove.
The dining room will delight connoisseurs of local cuisine. Here you can dine while watching the magnificent views of the majestic mountains through large panoramic windows.
Here are some dishes from our menu that you should definitely try when you come to visit us:

And also a mobile cafe with reasonable prices: hot drinks from 100 tenge, light snacks and more.
You are allowed to bring food that does not require storage and your own drinks, including alcoholic ones. Complex meals are available for an additional fee.
What could be more pleasant than visiting a sauna after a day of active exercise, be it hiking in the mountains or skiing on the slopes?
After an active day, you can have a great time in a Finnish sauna, relaxing and truly enjoying yourself.

Without overnight stay: For those who miss pristine nature and want to take a break from the stuffy urban jungle.
Overnight: for those who want to see an unforgettable scarlet sunset and meet a bright sunrise in the mountains, sit with a guitar by the fire and enjoy the views of the endless starry sky, we open the season of overnight hikes every Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
The hikes are suitable for both experienced travelers and beginners, as the groups are accompanied by experienced guides with more than 15 years of experience.
Get rid of stress, feel real relaxation and learn to control your own body, and most importantly, communicate with noble and intelligent animals. This opportunity is provided by horseback riding, one of those rare types of contemplative exercises, when the soul rests and opens up.
Horseback riding and communication with horses have long been known as a powerful therapeutic tool for certain types of diseases and nervous disorders. There are hippotherapy centers all over the world, where people are cured of ailments simply by horseback riding and being charged with calm, strength, self-confidence and, of course, kindness from horses!
Horses are strong and at the same time obedient animals, giving a forgotten feeling of organic unity with nature.
Mountain air, enchanting beauty and professional approach of the staff of the ski resort "Pioneer" will not leave your child indifferent and he himself, without anyone's instructions, will put his gadget in his pocket and will watch with delight the wonderful moments, and then tell his peers about it!
Seasonal camp visits coincide with school holidays. Children aged 7-17.
We offer winter, fall, spring and summer camp programs for children.
The children's camp is attended by more than 1,000 children per year.
The Pioneer ski resort is not only a place for family recreation, but also a real rehabilitation center for children diagnosed with autism and other speech and communication disorders.
Through learning to ski, the child's all-round development is launched. He begins to reach for knowledge and the development of his own (special) unique abilities. To date, we have helped hundreds of children develop themselves and become part of modern society.
Team building in nature is a great opportunity to strengthen team spirit, improve relationships and spend time with colleagues outside the workplace.

Not far from Almaty, take the Talgar highway past the roundabout at the village of Besagash — at the traffic light, turn right (an asphalt road goes uphill). Pass through the villages of Akbulak and Kotyrbulak (after Kotyrbulak there’s a fork — take the right turn), then go through the center of the village of Besqainar (also known as Gorny Sadovod), and continue uphill. After that, you'll pass an eco checkpoint (barrier) — be prepared to pay a state fee for entering the Ile-Alatau National Nature Park. Continue driving past the Tau-Samal sanatorium, and you’ll arrive at the territory of the ski resort “Almatau.” Keep left and go straight uphill to reach the ski lift.

If you want to travel from Almaty to us on your own, you can take the direct bus #209, which will take you straight to the Pioneer Ski Resort.
On the website citybus.kz, in real time, you can find route #209 and take it where it is most convenient for you. The route starts from the Baluan Sholak Palace along Baitursynov Street/corner of Abay Avenue.
